Male R&B groups are of the last decade, but L.I.E. (Lost In Eternity) may have you believing a comeback is in the foreseeable future. The trio of Leaks, Dennis, and DeShaun is breaking into the mainstream game with a fresh blend of hip-hop, R&B and rock that resembles a mesh of many premier artists of past and present. They are a product of 316 Entertainment, a NYC group of musicians/producers that have worked with the likes of Nina Sky, Yung Joc, and Anthony Hamilton.
Their new single, ‘Best Thing’, sports a rhythm that best resembles a combination of Neptunes sound with Ryan Leslie influence. It’s catchy, and what sets this track apart from recent attempts at R&B group success by others is that all three members have genuine vocals and deliver their own style.
