New Eve: Hot Steppa #1 ft. Swizz Beatz
If you turn to the Classifieds Section of modern day hip-hop, it would be pretty hard to miss the full page ad – “Calling All Female Artists”. Eve certainly got the memo. The Grammy award winning rapper-turned-actress is back with her first solo single in nearly two years: ‘Hot Steppa #1’.
The Ruff Ryders chemistry between Eve and Swizz Beatz still stands strong in this energetic track that marks the resurgence to a once dormant rap career. Based on her dominant performances in the early 2000’s, it is safe to say that this is just a taste of what is to come in the near future for Eve. She just wanted to let the hip-hop world know that she is coming.
Her new album, Lip Lock, is rumored to be released in Spring 2011.
